The lights

After learning our lesson hiking down the Strip we decide to to drive to Treasure Island car park then walk to see the volcano go off in the Mirage, we didn't expect half of the world population to be there as well, I'm not kidding think of London at Christmas X10 then you'll come close, anyhoo the lights n stuff...

Started the day with breakfast at Rock & Rita's,same as yesterday.






  

The toilets are for a meal and a drink the food in the bowl and drink in the cistern, NO i didn't try this out I dont fancy eating out of a toilet, it just seems wrong to me I'll stick with a plate and a glass thanks.

After our marathon down the Strip yesterday we decided to take the Shelby museum and factory tour and have a quieter time, muscle cars, classic American muscle car, it was a good trip.

Then back to the hotel for a small bite and coffee, oh yeah and a go on the slots last of the big spenders I put $6 in to a penny slot machine and won $32 I didn't have a clue what the thing was upto until it had finished flashing and making loads of noise. The flowers around my neck are for the donation to the American breast cancer trust a good cause I thought and they flash so the rest of the tribe won't lose me in the crowd, lol

Rock & Rita's and the Strip!

Tuesday

Breakfast at Rock & Rita's I had 3 eggs sunny side up, chorizo sausage, home fries(small potato squares) and toast and a pot of coffee, sorry no pic's I was too hungry and by the time I remembered it was all gone.

The Strip, no nothing like that, we decided to walk down the strip to see what was were and act like Japanese tourists...

The weather was on our side - dull,, overcast not too hot - until we go about 500m from the hotel the sun came out, the humidity went through the roof - ahhwell.

We got as far as Caesars and had to stop for a drink, Iced coffee, sounds good.

Yes they were as good as they look. Then we had a look around.

We were finished too hot and too tired so we started to make our way back up the strip on the other side of the road when I spotted a street artist.

Well I thought it looked impressive... 

...so I bought it, yay me. 

I spotted the bronze statues full size of course and had to have a picture ;)
